"One of the most destructive social arrangements in human history: consigning 13-year-old males to learning from 15-year-old males"?

Good grief. Slavery? Serfdom? Forced labor? Child labor? The oppression of women?

Who would listen to anything else a person has to say, when he says something like that with a straight face?

Katherine, age 17

Brilliant, I must say. As a teen myself I am delighted to hear someone finally understanding the root of the problems facing us these days. I have the fortunate opportunity to be well educated by my parents and by my school, however, many of my friends in other schools complain about how they are being fed nonsense, expected to be stupid and immoral beings. I have witnessed the prof of Gingrich’s for myself in the way I am treated by adults and older co-workers. I have a message for all you out there who complain about the poor situation of today’s youth; why on earth are you surprised that someone being cuddled their whole life has any moral, intellectual, or emotional experience or stamina? We as teens have been fed the lie that the world is here for out benefit, fed the lie that we are not responsible for our actions, fed the lie that we can continue to let someone else hold us up when we are too lazy. I am guilty of this too, grossly. I demand service of my parents as the selfish human that I am. However, no one should ever be satisfied with such an existence. I am not, and I am not by any means alone in my sentiment. Please, help us to grow into the kind of people that all of us secretly admire in the depths of our souls, great and admirable human beings.
